Michael Fanning

Managing Director, Below The Radar
Michael is TV executive with almost 25 years’ experience in the industry. He is Managing Director of Below The Radar, a Belfast based TV production company that produce a range of factual programmes and series for broadcasters in the UK, Ireland and internationally. In 2017 his directorial debut, Rocky Ros Muc received a cinematic release in both Ireland and America and qualified for consideration at the Oscars under the Documentary Feature category. Michael has been Executive Producer on a number of international co-productions working with producers and funders in Wales, Scotland, Canada and China.

Kate Finn

Co-founder, HopSkip Studios Ltd
Kate Finn has more than 15 years’ experience producing content spanning factual entertainment, educational programmes, mini documentaries and advertising. Kate has a passion for producing content that empowers, educates and inspires children and young people. In July 2019, Kate co-founded HopSkip Studios Ltd. with the aim of producing inspiring and empowering content for children and young adults. Since then the company has been successful in producing 100s of short form educational productions for the BBC, across a wide range of ages from 5-16 and is about to launch a new factual entertainment show with RTE ‘What’s Next?’.

Aoife O'Sullivan

Producer, Subotica
After completing an M.A. in Film Studies at UCD Aoife went on to lecture in Film Studies in Ballyfermot College for 3 years. Aoife joined Subotica in 2000 and has been producing films and television drama since 2006. Most recent credits include the feature films Aisha, Joyride and Freud’s Last Session and television drama series The Boy That Never Was. Aoife is currently producing a romantic drama television series called Mix Tape starring Jim Sturgess and Teresa Palmer, to be delivered in 2025.

Gavin Halpin (Chair)

Managing Director, Paper Owl Films
Gavin Halpin is the Managing Director of Paper Owl Films, which he co-founded in 2012. Since graduating with a 1st class honours degree in Film and Communications from the Dublin Institute of Technology, Gavin has held almost every position in the industry. His experience has given him a unique perspective on the creativity, resilience and belief it takes to create award-winning content. Gavin is a driving force in Paper Owl Films as the key business affairs contact and Executive Producer.
