Denise Watson

Freelance Journalist
Denise continues to freelance with TV, presenting rallying and motorsport shows for RTE and other broadcasters. She's also in demand for digital media and commercial work as a host and voiceover. Denise is an ambassador for Women's sport in Northern Ireland and is proud to see the profile raised significantly in the last few years. She is a mum to two daughters - Samantha (19) and Elizabeth (16) who are involved in Sport and musical theatre.

Kathy Littler

TV Producer
Television Producer Kathy Littler has worked in the broadcast industry for 30 years, starting her career at BBC Northern Ireland as a researcher. Always in the freelance world, Kathy has worked for a multitude of Northern Ireland, Dublin and London-based production companies. She has produced content for BBC, BBC NI, ITV, Channel Four, RTE and Virgin Media - over a wide range of genres including hidden camera formats, quiz show formats, documentary and daytime in both live and taped formats. She is currently producing Sunday Morning Live with Tern TV & Green Inc for BBC One.  

Amanda Ferguson

Journalist & Editor
Amanda Ferguson from north Belfast is a Belfast-based Ireland editor, and NUJ member. For nearly 15 years she has been working as a freelance journalist, event host, writer, and broadcaster, for local, national and international media outlets, including Reuters news agency, The Washington Post, BBC, RTÉ, LBC, Sky, and others.  She co-founded Women in Media Belfast in 2021. It was recently registered as a community interest company and was set up to amplify women’s voices and showcase expertise in and on the media.  You can find Amanda on social media, and her website is amanda.ie.

Aoife Moore (Chair)

Aoife Moore is a journalist and documentary maker with the BBC, based in Dublin. Born and raised in Derry, she has previously worked as a political journalist at the Irish Examiner and the Sunday Times. In 2021 she was named Journalist of the Year for breaking the Golfgate scandal.  She is a Sunday Times Number One bestselling author for her debut book The Long Game - Inside Sinn Fein.
