Supported by the UK Government and administered by the BFI, the Young Audiences Content Fund is a £57 million three year pilot, dedicated to supporting the development and production of high quality and distinctive public-service programming of all genres and techniques, including indigenous languages, for children and teens up to the age of 18.
In this essential panel at Belfast Media Festival, Fund Execs Harriet Williams and John Knowles will be joined by industry professionals to discuss Northern Ireland’s current place in the children’s TV industry and the importance of regionality, diversity and authentic representation within youth content in the UK. The team will also lay out the intentions of the Fund, discuss the story so far and offer advice on submitting good applications.
