A Fireside Chat with Brenda & John Romero

‘The Ulster Screen Academy presents… a fireside chat with Brenda and John Romero’.

The Ulster Screen Academy is delighted to welcome lifelong game developers Brenda and John Romero to the festival this year. Brenda and John are founders of Romero Games in Galway and will discuss their games, the industry’s history, and delve into subjects at the audience’s request!

Following closely behind the highly successful launch of our new BA in Screen Production, Ulster University’s Screen Academy is proud to announce a new undergraduate degree in Games Design open for applications now. What better way to launch this new degree than with the designers for games such as Wizardry, Wolfenstein 3D, Dangerous Dave, Hexen, Doom, Doom II and Quake. It’s a celebration of nerdiness, of creativity and an opportunity to hear from two of the games industry’s leading creatives in the world today.

As a driving force behind Northern Ireland’s fast-growing screen industry, Ulster University’s Screen Academy offers degrees that connect directly with the creative industries. These include degrees in Screen Production, Animation, Games Design, Interactive Media, Cinematic Arts, Interaction design and Photography. Find out more here:
