Engaging Educating Empowering
A huge welcome to the 10th annual Belfast Media Festival!
To mark the occasion, we are building on the success of previous years by inviting some top-notch speakers to entertain and inspire.
Global media icon and local hero Paul Smith of ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire’ fame, BBC 3 Controller, Fiona Campbell, the Commissioner and Cast of the hit show ‘Derry Girls’, the team behind ‘24 Hours in A&E’ and the Music Supervisor from Killing Eve are just a few of the stars amongst a whole galaxy of commissioners and industry superstars.
As well as all that, there will be sessions around Gaming, Animation, Podcasting, Formats and a few surprises including an unusual take on a Ted Talk.
We are also delighted to be hosting the 5th Annual RTS awards, also going from strength to strength each year, and celebrating the fantastic growth and talent in Northern Ireland.
As ever, students are welcome and we’ve done our best to create a bespoke pathway of relevant sessions, speakers and workshops, such as ‘The Best Job You’ve Never Heard Of’ featuring a whole host of local young talent and presided over by the inspirational Kevin Biemers.
To register for this free festival, click here but beware as registration closes at 15.00 on 5th November. You can of course register on site at any point during the two days but we cannot guarantee you access to sessions.
We couldn’t run this festival without the generosity of our ever-increasing band of sponsors. If you’re interested in sponsoring next year and find out about the benefits it that can bring, please email Helen Thompson – helencthompsontv@gmailcom
