Mark began his comedy career in BBC Radio, producing classic shows like THE NEWS HUDDLINES. His first TV job was with Granada producing the sitcom BRASS and children’s comedy JACKSON PACE starring Keith Allen. He spent nine years developing and producing mainstream comedy for LWT, including HALE & PACE, before working as a freelance on the likes of BREMNER, BIRD & FORTUNE for Channel 4. His favourite productions are THE WEEKENDERS with Vic & Bob and “the best comedy about football – ever ” (not his words) BOSTOCK’S CUP. He and Graham Smith run Grand Scheme where they created ALAN DAVIES – AS YET UNTITLED and the definitive documentary about Clement & La Frenais’s PORRIDGE.
